I have mild/moderate acne. As far as over the counter treatments go, this one is very good. I have a benzoil peroxide sensitivity, so I like that Murad instead uses salicylic acid. It is a much gentler yet just as effective ingredient, and for me, Murad works much better than other products such as Proactive. However, I have discovered that it actually costs less and is far superior to just go to the dermatologist. I finally did, and in only 6 months, my skin is 98% clear. I only use prescription topicals, and even if I didn’t have insurance, their superiority far makes up for any difference in price.
